Iron Goddess of Mercy, also known as Tie Guan Yin, is a highly revered Chinese oolong tea celebrated for its floral and creamy character. The leaves produce a vibrant golden liquor with notes of orchid, honey, and a subtle hint of mineral freshness. Each sip is rich and aromatic, offering a meditative tea-drinking experience that reflects its cultural significance. This tea embodies both strength and delicacy, making it a prized addition to any collection. Perfect for meditative moments or as an introduction to traditional oolong teas. The name comes from a farmer called Mr. Wei. At the temple dedicated to Kuan Yin he named the tea in honour of the Iron Goddess statue.
