Formosa Milk Jin Xuan Oolong is a creamy and smooth tea with a natural milky aroma, unique to the Jin Xuan cultivar of Taiwan. This semi-oxidized tea produces a pale golden liquor with buttery undertones and a touch of floral sweetness. Its velvety texture and lingering finish make it a luxurious choice for oolong enthusiasts. Each sip highlights the exceptional quality of Taiwanese tea craftsmanship. Jin Xuan, meaning 'Golden Daylily', is a developed cultivar of Taiwanese Oolong. The tea is also known as #12 and more often Milk Oolong (Nai Xiang.) This tea cultivar is grown at higher altitudes and develops its light, fruity and flowery flavour, often being referred to as milky or creamy. The tight-rolled, balled oolong is made when only three leaves have fully opened unlike traditional balled oolongs that consist of 4 leaves and a bud.
